Thanks to Wheel Heat at Wonthaggi, an awesome new kids bike is up for grabs at this Saturday’s Bass Coast Cycle Challenge & Family Festival.
To be in with a chance, simply enter the ‘Pimp My Bike contest’ and ride in our free 14km family ride, or 7km kids ride on Saturday 10 November.
How to enter Pimp My Bike contest:
Get your creative helmets on and decorate your bike at home or come to the decorating tent at Rainbow Park from 9am. At 11am judging will take place at Rainbow Park. The owner of the best decorated bike will ride away with a schmick new bike donated by Wheel Heat.
How to enter the 14km Family ride or 7km kids ride:
Kids and families can also then take part in the free 14km family ride (or shorter 7km loop) to Eagles Nest and back – starting at 1pm. To register for these rides, come to the bag drop off tent in Rainbow Park from 9am and complete the entry form.
“At Eagles Nest riders get the chance to take a break, enjoy some refreshments, take some photos and then safely ride back to town. It’s a really fun experience for the whole family and the shorter 7km ride is perfect for younger tackers wanting to get out on their bike.” Said Gavin Slavin, co-event Director.
