It’s 1 July and we know what that means…

… entries are now open for the 12th annual Bass Coast Cycle Challenge!

The Bass Coast Cycle Challenge is back for its 12th year, and we are excited to welcome past and new riders on Saturday 11 November 2023. Don’t let the current chill deter you, secure your early bird rate now to be a part of the best cycling event in the region!

This year, in addition to our 4 cornerstone rides - 121km, 85km, 53km, 40km - we  have a new kid on the block … a gravel ride which takes in some of the region’s most stunning trails. These 5 routes provide options to suit any rider ability - from recreational to adventurer to warrior.

Your participation saves lives

A charity event, proceeds fund the education of young drivers, passengers and cyclists, making our roads a safer place for all. Since 2010, the BCCC has enabled over 3000 students from Bass Coast and South Gippsland secondary schools to take part the game-changing RYDA program.

The BCCC is a stalwart of the cycling calendar. It’s a unique event because we have rides to suit all ages and abilities, and our rides can be completed in just a few hours - at your own pace, or against the clock if you prefer. Also, we give back to the community - our charity provides important driver education in local high schools- which saves lives. The BCCC is a win, win!” said event founder Gavin Slavin.

Secure your early bird ticket now & win!

From 1 July to 22 August, our early bird discounted prices are available. Early birds are guaranteed a jersey for event day and also go into a draw to win one of three free ride entries, jersey and new helmet. With rider numbers capped, places do fill fast, so enter now.
