Strengthening Bass Coast, South Gippsland community

Australia's most trusted bank, Bendigo Bank - Community Bank Inverloch, has committed to support the 2023 Bass Coast Cycle Challenge, to be held on 11 November.

The partnership sees Community Bank Inverloch become a key local business helping to make this charity event a reality.

Penelope Lyttle, Branch Manager from Community Bank Inverloch said supporting and strengthening communities was central to the Community Bank’s purpose with a local contribution of almost $600,000.

“We take pride in helping our communities to thrive and the Bass Coast Cycle Challenge is a major event in our area which gives back to the community in many ways.” She said.

Gavin Slavin, Bass Coast Cycle Challenge founder, says the support is integral to bringing wider benefits for the community.

“Having Community Bank Inverloch as a key supporter for our 2023 event, means we can continue to provide our community with this great ride. By having the ride, means we can continue to bring further benefits, through providing the game changing road safety workshops in local high schools .. to create safer and more aware road users.” He said.
